Yangzijiang Maritime (SGX:8YZ) has ordered 24 newbuild vessels from Chinese shipyards, with deliveries scheduled between 2028 and 2030, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The orders include bulk carriers, product oil and chemical tankers, and large oil tankers. The new vessels will be funded through a combination of equity co-investment and debt financing.
The company also signed options for an additional 16 vessels.
Including the new firm contracts and options, Yangzijiang Maritime's total newbuild pipeline increases to 98 vessels.
