Pmet Resources Says Canada Project Phase Two Test Work Shows Potential for Production of Caesium End-Products; Shares Up 3%

Pmet Resources (ASX:PMT) said the results from its second phase bench-scale caesium test work program on pollucite concentrate from its Shaakichiuwaanaan project in Canada showed potential for a variety of caesium end-products to be produced, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The concentrate of around six kilograms used as feed for the test work was produced by X-ray transmission ore sorting of drill core material from the Vega caesium zone at the CV13 pegmatite.

The company said it continues to work with Koch Technology Solutions, which conducted the phase two test work program, in evaluating downstream processing pathways. Follow-up test work program is being designed and is expected to include a complete bench-scale proof-of-concept.

Its shares advanced over 3% in recent trading on Wednesday.
