S.F. Holding's (SHE:002352, HKG:6936) controlling shareholder, Shenzhen Mingde Holdings Development, and its concert party, Shenzhen Weishun Enterprise Management, saw their combined stake increase passively to 48.22% from 46.76% after the company cancelled repurchased A-shares.

The company cancelled 160.16 million repurchased A-shares on Sept. 18, lowering its total share capital to 5.105 billion shares from 5.265 billion, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The number of shares held by Mingde Holdings and Shenzhen Weishun remained unchanged. The ownership percentage increased solely due to the reduction in total shares outstanding, involving no additional share purchases or capital, the filing said.
