Cadeler's (CDLR) Nexa unit and Vattenfall Vindkraft AB have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the development of operations and maintenance services for offshore wind farms, the companies said Monday.
The collaboration will focus on major component exchange capabilities, combining operational expertise, service methods and long-term planning, according to the companies.
They will also assess approaches to improve the efficiency, safety and scalability of offshore maintenance activities across multiple turbine platforms, the companies said in a joint statement.
