Stock futures were rising to start the week as oil prices fell and the market digested positive progress between the U.S. and China ahead of President Donald Trump and Xi Jinping's meeting later this week.

Tech stocks, and artificial-intelligence names, in particular, were set for a good day after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent met with China's vice premier He Lifeng and said the pair had agreed to an AI dialogue.

These stocks are moving ahead of the open Monday:

Intel was one of the biggest risers, climbing more than 5% as investors piled into well-established AI plays. Super Micro Computer, which makes AI servers, rose 3%, while semiconductor companies Advanced Micro Devices, Micron Technology, and Marvell were all around 2% up.

Meta Platforms rose 2.7% as the launch of the company's personal AI agent Muse continued to impress investors. Other megacap technology companies were enjoying gains as Google owner Alphabet rose 1.3% and Nvidia pointed 0.8% higher.

Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance were up 7% and 6% respectively after a Wall Street Journal report that California's attorney general and Paramount have been discussing concessions to settle a lawsuit blocking the company's $81 billion merger with Warner.

Accenture was up around 6% after Anthropic announced it would partner with the technology consulting firm on artificial-intelligence safety.

Crypto-related stocks were rising again as Bitcoin continued its impressive rebound after a Senate vote on the Clarity Act regulation failed last week. The world's largest cryptocurrency was trading just below $85,000, up more than 5% over the past 24 hours.

Strategy stock rose 7.5%, Coinbase Global was up 5% and Robinhood Markets climbed 4%.
