HanmiGlobal to Manage SK hynix's Indiana HBM Plant

HanmiGlobal (KRX:053690) will provide construction management services for SK hynix's (KRX:000660) HBM packaging plant under construction in West Lafayette, Indiana, according to a HanmiGlobal release on Monday.

HanmiGlobal has been involved since pre‑construction and will oversee design, schedule, cost, quality, safety and risk management, while coordinating SK hynix's Korean and U.S. partners through cleanroom completion in 2028.

The $4 billion plant, SK hynix's first U.S. AI memory production base, broke ground Aug. 27, with construction starting in March. HanmiGlobal is managing about 20 advanced industry projects in the U.S., including semiconductor, secondary battery, and submarine cable facilities.
