The Nasdaq composite is poised to close at its first record since June after adding to gains in afternoon trading.
The tech-heavy index was recently up 2.3% to 27121, which would be the highest close on record. The current closing high was set June 2, when the index closed at 27093.90.
The giant tech stocks known as the Magnificent Seven are also poised to set a record. The Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF is up 3.5% on the day, poised to close at its first record high since May 14, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
