Singapore shares opened marginally higher on Monday on hopes of cooling of oil prices as Saudi Arabia aims to soon restart some flows through its main east-to-west pipeline, which was damaged in attacks last week.
The Straits Times Index edged 3.17 points higher, or 0.06%, to 5,659.280.
Investors are also keenly eyeing the US-China summit later this week for cues on trade and economic relations between the two economic giants.
