XRP eventually moved through the upper boundary of this structure during its latest major advance.After surging above $3, XRP entered a lengthy correction. Brandt's chart now shows the cryptocurrency trading around $1.49 while consolidating underneath its 18-month moving average, which sits close to $1.88.This means that Brandt's $5.40 projection is clearly not based on an immediate breakout from current levels. XRP would first have to reverse the substantial correction that followed its previous rally and regain several important technical levels.XRP volatility expectations surgeAs reported by U.Today, Coinbase Markets recently estimated that XRP options were pricing in a one-standard-deviation move of approximately 8.9% through Sept. 27.This was the largest expected move among the major cryptocurrencies included in Coinbase's comparison, ahead of Solana's 8.0%, Ethereum's 6.9% and Bitcoin's 5.0%.
