SpaceX's (SPCX) Starlink satellite communications station in Poland caught fire late Wednesday in a suspected act of sabotage, Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski told TVP Info on Thursday.

The infrastructure provides internet connectivity to the region, including Ukraine, Gawkowski said. Preliminary findings suggest a switchboard may have been deliberately set on fire, while a power generator was also damaged, the report said.

While confirming the facility's power systems are fully functional, Gawkowski referenced prior assessments by Prime Minister Donald Tusk to characterize the fire as an element of ongoing hybrid warfare.
