BHP Group (ASX:BHP) and the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation renamed the Oak Dam exploration project in South Australia to Ankata following a community-led process run by the Kokatha people, the mining company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The company anticipates further underground exploration at the project site through the construction of a twin decline, the statement said.
