Shandong Gold Mining (SHA:600547, HKG:1787) revised downward its annual gold production target for 2026 to 36 to 38 metric tons from 49 metric tons, according to a Thursday after-hours filing dated Friday with the Shanghai bourse.
The target reduction follows mining accidents at its peers, leading to a decline in gold production in the first half, as well as an increase in construction activity at its other mines in the second half.
