Cintas (CTAS) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $1.39 per diluted share, up 15.8% from a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.35.
Revenue for the quarter ended Aug. 31 was $3.01 billion, compared with $2.72 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $2.98 billion.
For fiscal 2027, the company raised its guidance and now expects adjusted diluted EPS of $5.45 to $5.54, compared with its prior guidance of $5.36 to $5.50. Analysts are looking for $5.51.
Cintas now expects full-year revenue of $12.15 billion to $12.27 billion, compared with its previous guidance of $12.10 billion to $12.25 billion. Analysts expect $12.22 billion.
