CNOOC Raises Stake in China Oilfield Services to 50.91%

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) or CNOOC has further raised its stake in subsidiary China Oilfield Services (HKG:2883, SHA:601808), according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Wednesday.

CNOOC purchased 410,000 A shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange for about 4.98 million yuan and 17,858,000 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for about 92.9 million yuan.

The latest acquisitions raised CNOOC's total stake in the company to 50.91% from 50.53%.
