Sphere, Disguise Sign Deal to Develop Video Systems

Sphere Entertainment (SPHR) and entertainment technology company Disguise said Wednesday they have signed a multi-year partnership to develop advanced technologies and workflows to accelerate video playback capabilities for Sphere's immersive entertainment venues and support its global expansion.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the collaboration, Disguise will collaborate with Sphere Entertainment to develop custom technology and video playback systems.

The companies said the agreement is intended to support Sphere's video capabilities and global expansion plans, including planned venues in Abu Dhabi and National Harbor in Maryland.
