Consumer electronics company Yamada Holdings (TYO:9831) will transfer all equity in its wholly owned subsidiary Yamada Denki (Shenyang) to a local Chinese company to dispose of non-core assets, according to a Thursday filing with the Japan bourse.
The equity transfer will fully clear Yamada Holdings' consumer electronics assets in China, allowing it to optimize and improve the efficiency of its management resources, the filing said.
Shares of Yamada Holdings rose nearly 1% in recent trade.
