There are 366 tokens on ETH alone with the TREAT-named ticker,\" Mazrael wrote.Mazrael was reacting to a post by X user 'BAPA-Fortuna,' who called attention to the fact that there were other tokens with the TREAT ticker. He pointed to two different Ethereum tokens using the TREAT name/ticker.The official TREAT token for the Shiba Inu ecosystem exists on Ethereum and Shibarium, and he shared the respective contract addresses. An older Ethereum token using the TREAT name and ticker reportedly dates back to Jan. 13, 2023. However, it is a separate token and should not be confused with or associated with the Shiba Inu ecosystem.The warning urges users to verify the contract address and never to identify a token by its ticker alone.Shibarium receives quiet upgradesShiba Inu layer-2 Shibarium continues to receive silent upgrades. This week, Mazrael informed the community that 'x402 is live on Shibarium.' x402 is an open, neutral standard for internet-native payments.
