Oracle's (ORCL) Larry Ellison pledged 67 million additional Oracle shares as collateral for personal loans compared with the same period last year, Bloomberg reported Friday.
The additional pledged shares represent a 19% increase from 2025 and are worth about $9.2 billion based on Oracle's Friday closing price of $137.10, Bloomberg said.
Ellison is helping his son David's Paramount Skydance acquire Warner Bros. Discovery in a deal valued at $111 billion.
The Ellisons have committed $47 billion in equity funding, including about $24 billion from three Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds, the report said.
