Tokyo Electric Power Company (TYO:9501) secured 33.5 billion yen in grants from the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
The latest grants brought the cumulative NDF grants to 11,590.7 billion yen, the filing said.
Tokyo Electric Power Company had previously received 188.9 billion yen in indemnity payments and 11,557.2 billion yen in NDF grants.
Shares of the company rose nearly 2% in recent trade.
