ASM International Expected to Grow Strongly in Coming Years

0927 GMT - ASM International is expected to report sales growth above consensus in the coming years as advanced logic and memory chips continue to drive demand for semiconductor-making equipment, UBS analysts write in a research note. They expect the Dutch group--which supplies chip makers with wafer processing equipment for the deposition of thin films--to log revenue growth of 36% next year against consensus of 29%, followed by 33% growth in 2028 against consensus of 19%. The analysts maintain a buy rating on the stock, but lift their price target to 1,325 euros from 1,275 euros. ASM International shares trade 0.2% lower at 842.60 euros.
