Executive editor Goola Warden won the top prize last year with her cover story on Singapore's strong currency leading to translation effects for listcos with overseas operations. Senior writer Nicole Lim won the 2024 award with a cover story on the creator economy.\n\"Insurance is a key piece in anybody's financial literacy level. This story, based on Felicia's extensive reporting, has hopefully helped bring more insights to this issue,\" says Chan.\nThe other nominee in this category was Ulrica Lin of Lianhe Zaobao, who wrote a story on common misconceptions about SpaceX's IPO.\nIn total, The Edge Singapore scored seven nominations across three of the five award categories.
