KKR (KKR) said Friday it generated more than $750 million in income from monetization activity from July 1 through Sept. 25, based on currently available information.
The activity comprised about 80% realized performance income and 20% realized investment income, driven by public secondary sales, strategic transactions, dividends and interest income.
The figure excludes the pending USI Insurance Services sale to Aon (AON) for $17 billion. Subject to closing, KKR expects about $3.3 billion in after-tax proceeds, generating about $2 billion in adjusted net income, or more than $2.00 per share.
KKR cautioned that the $750 million estimate does not represent total Q3 realized income or revenue and could change before the quarter ends.
