BUUU Group Signs Preliminary Framework for Planned Macau AI Data Center

BUUU Group has signed a preliminary agreement to supply prefabricated modules for a planned 40-megawatt artificial intelligence data center in Macau.

Brightray Veridian, a majority-owned unit of BUUU Group, has signed a framework agreement with a customer in Macau which is planing to develop the AI data center in Coloane. While the agreement carries no immediate obligations, the parties are expected to negotiate a binding sales contract only if Brightray secures a tenant for the building.

The planned delivery would be for the third quarter of 2027, the company said Friday.

Under the proposed framework, the building would be designed as a five-story, steel structured facility built using modular prefabrication systems built to support IT equipment of 10 kilowatts to 500 kilowatts per rack.

If the project goes through, it would be Macau's first modular AI data center.

The contract automatically terminates on Sept. 30 if Brightray fails to secure a tenant and a lease is signed.
