Mori Trust REIT (TYO:8961) agree to borrow 4.5 billion yen to repay existing short-term and long-term loans maturing on Sept. 30, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.
The borrowing consists of 2.5 billion yen in short-term loans from Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. and another 1.5 billion yen from Resona Bank at a floating rate.
The REIT secured another 500 million yen in a long-term loan from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance at a fixed rate of 2.53250%.
The new loans are unsecured and unguaranteed with lump-sum repayment upon maturity, with the short-term loans maturing in 2027 and the long-term loan in 2029.
