Meiko Electronics to Split Shares 2-for-1, Cuts Year-End Dividend Forecast

Meiko Electronics (TYO:6787) board approved a two-for-one stock split of its common shares, effective Nov. 2, according to a Monday filing.

Shareholders on the register as of Nov. 1 will receive one additional share for each share held, increasing issued shares to 53.6 million from 26.8 million.

The company also revised its fiscal 2027 year-end dividend forecast to 40 yen per share from 80 yen, reflecting the stock split. The interim dividend forecast remains unchanged at 80 yen per share, it said.

On a pre-split equivalent basis, the revised annual dividend forecast remains 160 yen per share, with no substantive change in the dividend level.
