MT Newswires Live08:24

Arrow Minerals (ASX:AMD) confirmed that it complied with the ASX's listing rules and said it was not aware of any information that could explain the recent trading in its securities, in response to a letter from ASX, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

In a letter on Thursday, ASX pointed to an increase in the price of and a significant increase in the volume of securities traded in Arrow Minerals.

The firm said that it does not consider the preliminary talks it disclosed regarding the potential acquisitions of two exploration projects in the Pilbara region of Western Australia to be material to it, either individually or in aggregate.

It added that the recent trading in its securities may be the result of a number of positive developments over the last few months, including the acquisition of Yarraloola copper and Leeuwin Pilbara projects as well as its recent entry into the iron ore sector in the Pilbara region.
