Stocks to Watch Recap: Intel, MongoDB, Nvidia, Meta

Boeing (BA): Shares of the jet maker fell 6.9% after a Wall Street Journal article over the weekend said Boeing had identified a 737 MAX software glitch that could cause an automated navigation feature to fail.

MongoDB (MDB): The document database company's CEO is leaving after less than a year to lead Meta Platforms' new business focused on selling artificial-intelligence tools to enterprise customers. MongoDB stock slumped 18%.

Intel (INTC), Micron Technology (MU): Chip stocks mostly fell and were some of the most actively traded shares, with Intel in the top five.

Nvidia (NVDA): The chip company bucked the trend among tech shares, rising 1.7% after its board authorized a $150 billion increase to its share repurchase program.

Meta Platforms (META): The Facebook owner slipped 4.8%, after recent gains fueled by the popularity of its Muse AI agent.

Oracle (ORCL): Shares fell 3.3%, extending losses from last week, when cracks emerged in a huge, debt-fueled data-center project in New Mexico.

Persimmon (UK:PSN), Taylor Wimpey (UK:TW): In Europe, some of the biggest gains were in shares of British housebuilders, which surged after the U.K. government said it would launch a program to help first-time house buyers.
