Singapore Kitchen Seeks Extension to Submit Trading Resumption Proposal

Singapore Kitchen Equipment (SGX:5WG) has applied for a 12-month extension to Oct. 3, 2027, to submit its trading resumption proposal to the Singapore Exchange, according to a Tuesday bourse filing.

The company cited ongoing legal proceedings involving Executive Director and CEO Chua Chwee Choo Sally, as well as Senior Manager Koh Sai Eng Charlene, as the primary reason for the delay. SKE said these proceedings are expected to progress substantially into 2027 and may conclude before mid-year, subject to court scheduling.

SKE said it cannot determine with certainty when the proceedings will conclude and will reassess its resumption proposal after considering their outcome.

The application was submitted through the company's sponsor on Sept. 29, with the outcome to be announced in due course.
