Bitdeer Technologies' (BTDR) Bitdeer AI unit secured offtake commitments for more than 70% of the roughly 21.7-megawatt capacity at its A201 data center in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, ahead of energization in Q1 of 2027, the company said late Tuesday.
The contracts represent more than $1.7 billion in expected revenue over the next five years, bringing Bitdeer AI's total expected revenue backlog to about $2.9 billion, Bitdeer said.
The company said it is targeting up to 350 megawatts of AI cloud capacity by Q1 of 2028 and said its active pipeline exceeds $10 billion.
