Bannerman Energy Says Early Works Construction Activities at Namibia Uranium Project on Schedule

Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) said early works construction activities at its Etango uranium project in Namibia continue to advance in line with overall budget and schedule expectations, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

With a contractor workforce of about 523 personnel on site, the bulk earthworks package is now almost complete, with phase four expected to be completed in December, per the filing.

Aggregate production of heap leach drainage has reached about 50% of the total requirement, while dry plant civil and mechanical design is about 98% complete, with all relevant mechanical packages ready for order placement upon a final investment decision the company is targeting during the fourth quarter.

Bannerman added that wet plant detailed concrete and structural engineering is approximately 33% complete, and phase one of the permanent water supply pipeline is roughly 90% complete.
