Stellantis (STLA) will pause production temporarily at three factories in France in October, partly due to a shortage of long-range batteries for electric vehicles, media outlets reported Tuesday, citing the company.
The Sochaux plant will close from Oct. 23 to Oct. 30, while the Rennes factory will shut from Oct. 22 to Oct. 30, affecting the Citroen C5 Aircross, Bloomberg reported. The Mulhouse site will halt production from Oct. 15 to Oct. 30, Reuters reported.
Stellantis didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
