MT Newswires Live09-30 04:59

Solstice Advanced Materials (SOLS) said Tuesday it reached an agreement in principle with plaintiffs on a global settlement of all litigation tied to its Metropolis Works uranium conversion plant in Illinois.

The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. The plaintiffs include individual and putative class members, the City of Metropolis and Massac County, the company said.

Solstice said it does not expect the settlement to have a material impact on its business operations or financial performance, and it continues to deny the allegations and not admitting liability or wrongdoing.

The agreement remains subject to a definitive signed deal, court approval and approval from governmental entities and other stakeholders, according to the company.
