SpaceX's (SPCX) artificial intelligence unit SpaceXAI held discussions to lease server capacity to Microsoft (MSFT), The Information reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The company is generating billions of dollars in monthly commitments from firms including Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google, the report said, adding the status of the Microsoft talks isn't clear.

The company plans to deploy around 420,000 Nvidia (NVDA) processors in November to meet growing demand, including a $1.1 billion monthly contract starting in December, The Information said.

Microsoft told MT Newswires it doesn't have anything to share at this time, while SpaceX, Anthropic, and Google did not respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
