GE HealthCare Technologies (GEHC) is expected to announce its acquisition of Sofie Biosciences, a manufacturer of radioactive substances used in medical-imaging procedures, for $945 million in cash, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday, citing the company.
The medical-equipment maker will buy Sofie from private equity firm Trilantic North America, with the deal likely to be announced Monday, according to the report.
GE HealthCare didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
