Hot Chili (ASX:HCH) said drilling at the La Verde porphyry discovery in Chile defined the scale, grade, and continuity of near-surface higher-grade copper-gold mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Reverse circulation drilling continues to target near-surface, higher-grade mineralization.
It encountered intercepts of 188 meters grading 0.6% grade of copper-equivalent, including 0.4% grade of copper and 0.16 grams per tonne grade of gold from 24 meters as well as 112 meters grading 0.5% grade of copper-equivalent, including 0.4% grade of copper and 0.10 g/t grade of gold from 42 meters.
The company's shares fell past 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
