Tech stocks were higher Tuesday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 0.7% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 1.2%.
The Philadelphia Semiconductor index increased 0.6%.
In corporate news, Marvell Technology (MRVL) now expects to generate revenue of $12 billion in 2026 and $18 billion in 2027, up from its previous guidance of a combined $20 billion over that period, Chairman and Chief Executive Matthew Murphy said Tuesday at a conference, according to a transcript. Marvell shares gained 3.8%.
