Southern Cross Gold Consolidated (ASX:SX2) said it received results from five infill drill holes at its wholly owned Sunday Creek gold-antimony project in Victoria, Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 2.7 meters at 178.6 grams per tonne gold equivalent, or 178.4 grams per tonne gold and 0.1% antimony, from 662.3 meters, the filing said.
The company said closer-spaced drilling is lifting grades and sharpening the high-grade cores.
Antimony grades also remained high alongside the gold, with one hole returning three individual assays above 20% antimony in its upper part, the filing said.
