Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said Monday that it launched new tanker and container freight futures and options as average daily volume across its freight markets rose 33% year to date.
The new tanker futures cover Gulf of Oman-to-China and West Africa-to-China VLCC routes, it said.
Intercontinental Exchange said it also launched container freight options for Asia-to-North Europe and Asia-to-US West Coast routes.
The additions expand Intercontinental Exchange's freight complex to more than 90 contracts across over 30 global routes, it added.
