IndiGo has cancelled all flights to and from Riyadh through Oct. 9, citing prevailing security situation in the region, the airline told MT Newswires.

The airline is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Singapore Airlines (SGX:C6L) postponed the launch of its Riyadh services until March 28, citing the conflict in the Middle East, while Air India also halted flights to the Saudi capital. Philippine Airlines (PSE:PAL) suspended its Riyadh services until at least Oct. 11, according to Bloomberg News.

About 300 flights scheduled to arrive at or depart from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh were cancelled Thursday, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium. Airport operations in Riyadh have shut down and restarted several times in recent days amid Houthi attacks, Bloomberg said.

Singapore Air, Air India, and Philippine Airlines did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for a comment.
