NutryFarm Receives Objection Over Proxy Votes

MT Newswires10-12 13:43

NutryFarm International (SGX:AZT) has received a formal objection challenging the validity of proxy votes granted by shareholder Jia Lijie to Executive Director Niu Liming, according to a Sunday filing to the Singapore bourse.

The objection, received Saturday, was submitted by shareholders identifying themselves as requisitioning shareholders. They have questioned the validity of votes Niu intends to exercise on Jia's behalf at a special general meeting, including potential conflicts of interest.

The company has also received a supplementary statement on Sunday from requisitioning shareholders.

NutryFarm said it is reviewing the allegations and seeking legal advice on the issue.
