AuKing Mining (ASX:AKN) said reverse circulation drilling at its Tundulu rare earth project in Malawi showed further evidence of significant high-grade zones across multiple areas of the broader carbonatite system, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results for the Nathace Hill exploration target include 59 meters at 1.51% total rare earth oxide (TREO) from 13 meters; 72 meters at 1.51% TREO from surface; 47 meters at 1.5% TREO from 26 meters; and 36 meters at 1.5% TREO from 85 meters.
The latest high-grade results provide further impetus for deeper testing, the company said.
"A strong pipeline of assays is expected in the near term as AuKing continues to define the scale and extent of the mineralized system at Tundulu," it said.
