Singapore Technologies Engineering (SGX:S63) opened a new commercial aerospace airframe maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility within Changi Airport, according to a Friday Singapore bourse filing.
The 84,000 square meter facility is its fourth airframe MRO site in the city-state and has four widebody aircraft bays.
The facility will integrate digitization, automation, AI and drones for general visual inspections, autonomous mobile robots for parts delivery and AI-powered defect identification.
