Experian Looks Vulnerable to Competition from AI Agents
Dow Jones10-12
1016 GMT - Experian faces more risks than opportunities from the rise of artificial intelligence agents, Bernstein's Will Kirkness and Filippo Giardini write. AI agents could target subscriptions that rely on consumer inertia, which could include some Experian members, while directly competing with the credit-reporting agency's own BillFixer product, Bernstein writes. Experian's North America consumer business also looks close to ex-growth, the analysts add. "Our caution on the stock is derived from sustainability of growth across the group," Bernstein says. Bernstein has an underperform recommendation on the stock with a price target of 24.50 pounds. Shares are flat at 26.82 pounds.
