0213 GMT - Most Asian currencies consolidate against the greenback in the morning session ahead of U.S. data. Markets are focusing on data including the University of Michigan's preliminary consumer sentiment index, UOB Global Economics & Markets Research says. The print will be closed watched for insights into household confidence, inflation expectations and consumer-spending resilience, it adds. Investors will also continue monitoring developments in the Treasury market after this week's sharp rise in long-dated yields, and any further commentary from Federal Reserve officials for clues on the policy outlook, UOB writes in a note. The U.S. dollar is flat at 157.89 yen and little changed at 1,342.34 won, while the Australian dollar is up 0.3% at $0.6974, LSEG data show.
