Lupin Gets US FDA Approval for Vitamin K Injection

Lupin (NSE:LUPIN, BOM:500257) received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for its Phytonadione Injectable Emulsion USP, 1 mg/0.5 mL single-dose prefilled syringe, according to a Thursday exchange filing.

The product is bioequivalent to International Medication Systems' reference drug and is indicated for treating and preventing low blood clotting and vitamin K deficiency, the filing said.
