PC Gold (ASX:PC2) identified a new high-grade northern link zone extending three mineralized lodes north of the 1.5-million-ounce mineral resource estimate at its 100%-owned Spring Hill Gold Project in the Northern Territory, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Assay results from 22 of the 32 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes revealed high-grade gold intercepts, including 2 meters at 10.03 grams per tonne of gold in XRC021, 3 meters at 7.94 grams per tonne in XRC006 and 8 meters at 3.64 grams per tonne in XRC022, per the filing.
The Eastern Lode, Macau Extended Lode and North Link Zone have all been extended along strike, with the Macau Extended Lode reaching 950 meters and mineralization exposed at surface, the filing said.
The North Link Zone links the Eastern and Macau Extended lodes, highlighting the potential for additional high-grade Link-style structures to the north, the filing said.
The company continues RC and diamond infill drilling to refine targeting and support future resource updates, with assay results from the remaining 10 holes still pending, the filing added.
