Takeuchi Mfg. (TYO:6432) has raised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending February 2027 to 31.5 billion yen from the previous forecast of 25.9 billion.
Consolidated earnings per share are revised to 681.71 yen from the prior estimate of 560.69 yen, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
Net sales are projected at 261 billion yen, from the earlier forecast of 244 billion yen.
The upward revision is driven by stronger-than-expected sales volume in North America and Europe, partly offset by a shortfall in Asia-Oceania, along with a weaker-than-expected yen.
Profit gains also reflect 6.8 billion yen in full-year US tariff refunds and higher sales revenue, partly offset by elevated ocean freight rates and larger US sales promotion discounts.
The company also raised its year-end dividend forecast to 135 yen per share from 110 yen, bringing the total annual dividend to 245 yen, as it transitions to a twice-yearly dividend starting with the current fiscal year.
