Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) expanded the landholding at its Kal East gold projects in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia by more than 400 square kilometers through the staking of 18 new tenements for an undisclosed amount, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company said its total gold tenure position at Kal East now exceeds 1,100 square kilometers.
First-pass drilling is scheduled to begin in November, comprising 3,000 meters to 5,000 meters of aircore drilling at the Kims, Scotch Star and Rummy prospects, the filing added.
Further planned aircore and reverse circulation drilling of 10,000 meters to 20,000 meters across Kal East is expected to begin in early 2027, subject to tenure grant and heritage clearances, Ore Resources said.
