BlackBerry-owned (BB) QNX said Wednesday it launched QNX Launchpad, a program giving startups and small businesses access to its commercial software at reduced cost so more of their early budget can go to their product and team.

Eligibility is limited to companies with annual revenue up to $10 million that are building a product for sale, with extra benefits for those working inside recognized incubators or accelerators, the company said.

Participants get development seats and use of QNX's operating system, hypervisor and safety products, plus technical support and engineering help, QNX said.
