Manulife Financial (MFC) said Tuesday it has launched an enterprise AI platform to help teams develop, deploy and manage AI tools across its businesses under common set of security and governance standards.
The company said the insurer expects AI adoption to generate $1 billion in cumulative business value by 2027, including cost savings, revenue growth and reduced fraud.
Manulife said the platform will support tools such as an AI assistant for sales teams in Singapore, automated document processing and a US life insurance tool that speeds up preliminary assessments.
It will also allow teams to reuse approved AI solutions to reduce development time and expand their use across markets, it added.
